Good site, with fun Wine Wizard which is great if you don't know what you're looking for. If you do then there is a comprehensive search facility. Boasts a huge selection of wines (17500 aparently) of which 500 are 'recommended wines' on which there is a price and refund policy. Wines are rated by customers - athough unfortunately you don't get to find out how many customers or what they said!

Award winning retailer that is part of the John Lewis Partnership, so you can guarantee quality here. The website is easy to navigate and looks good, with an impressive search facility. The only downside is that delivery can take up to 10 days, so not for the 'want it here and now types', which lets face it is most of us!

Europe's largest internet offie! A huge variety of alcoholic drinks, spirits and some wine and champagne too. Stacks of stuff crammed onto the home page, so first visit may be a little overwhelming, but we're certain you'll keep coming back for more and more!

Majestic Stores are my favourite place to go and buy wine, so does the website live up to that? Well, yes it does, it is an easy to use site with a great selection of wines. They are usually delivered from your local store, so often takes a lot less than the 7 days quoted.

Oddbins

One of the few retailers to allow you to order less than 12 bottles of wine, although delivery is £6.99 if you do. Slightly jarring use of colours on the site giving it quite a funky look.

Large internet wine site, with many interesting mixed cases. The "rising stars" area is well worth checking out.
